Humanus

The Earth cries from inside
Wondering why?
Humanity has left it to die

Its life weeps
Its spirits mourn
Wondering why?
Its soul is torn

We have destroyed our earth
For this generation and the next
Its beauty and wonder
Left to burn
To slowly sunder

The Earth cries from inside
Wondering why?
Humanity has left it to die

Its ground cracks
Its skies thunder
Our ignorance has prevailed
Where sight had failed
Our greed adamant
And arrogance inhaled

Crying inside
She wonders why?
We left our mother to die

Demons Within

When night is dark, and moon is gone
Where souls lay, and shadows Mourn

Deep within the darkness
The demons are torn asunder
Their screams ring a thousand pains
Like lightning and thunder

For them there is no light
Only burning fires and bloody sights

Forever they are punished
For the unforgivable sins

So know the darkness
And your demons within

Tears of Tears

Only so much pain a heart has spoke
Never so much as tears provoke
Wither not, what withers so
Deafen the fields, of endless woe

Left not to wander, left not alive
Sentiments of frost, faintly survive

Within fear, the sorrow hears
Only Tears of Tears

Advent of Humanity

All I see are fading faces,
Innuendos of dying races.

Lost souls left feigning piety,
To leave the tundra of chaotic anarchy.
In the world so full of mortality,
Our legends fade into eternity.

Ambiguous claims and sanctimonious smiles.
Of the evil inside that cease to expire.

The song long played, for an earth now deaf.
The requiem forever playing, in a world long dead.

Wondering wanderers

Ever wonder if spirits wander?
They never ponder where they wander
They wander to where they are
They wander to where they go
Walking, over and under
Spirits never wander
They only wonder why they are?

The Last Rose

A rose in the winter stands,
Fighting against the vicious winds.
Its crimson petals glowing,
Amongst the field of endless snow.
The Rose is all that’s left
Of the thousands rubies laid to rest,
Taking its final pose.
Making a stand, trying to hold on
To the harmony it had,
The peace it lost,
Its final stand against the frost.

As tragic as it may be
The worst it has yet to see.
Not long will it stand
Out in the bitter storm.
Its heart still burning
But its body cold.

It is the dim fire,
The burnt out light,
It is the Last Rose,
And this is its last fight

Frozen Regret

He is lost
In this life and the next
Running from the pain
Which snapped his neck
And now the man is old
Forever to live
Eternally cold
